We met while attending school at Grossmont College in the winter of 1994. Our friendship quickly turned into a very special relationship, and we realized quickly that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives as one. Anh transferred to UCSD, graduating with a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science. John went on to SDSU to major in Computer Science and European History. Both of us continue to study and we are both seeking further professional certification.
Following our respective college graduations, we were married at the First Presbyterian Church, in El Cajon, California, in July of 2000. Following our very fun multi-lingual wedding, we left on what was to become the most fascinating honeymoon we could ever imagine. We traveled through Canada along the shores of the Great Lakes and then down the East Coast, quite unexpectedly finding Anh's long lost dad at the end of our journey. Our hobbies include watching birds, stars and anything else in the sky, going to the zoo, hiking, soaking in the pool, playing board games, and spending lots of time together. We currently live in Rancho Bernardo, a community in San Diego, and absolutely love the fact that we aren't getting snowed on.
Iain August entered our life on July 29th, 2003. A healthy, happy little fellow, he is the delight of our lives. We are truly blessed to be the parents of this little 'pork chop,' although we haven't slept much lately. We are blessed to have John and Anh's families within an hour's drive, and Anh's dad, in Wisconsin, calls and visits as often as he can. We always sense our family's love and support, which is truly a blessing.
John is currently working on his Masters of Divinity program.
Anh is co-owner of TRG Creative Inc., having been a web programmer for PINT Inc., and Directed Electronics. TRG Creative Inc. provides branding, web hosting, and web application solutions to San Diego businesses.
